Torta di prugne

Questa magnifica Torta di prugne è di semplice esecuzione e ti garantirà un’enorme successo con i tuoi ospiti. Per niente asciutta, morbida al palato, si lascia mangiare con vero piacere. La potrai accompagnare benissimo con una buona tazza di tè caldo o con del buon gelato alla vaniglia.

Ingredienti:

700 g di prugne
125 g di burro
125 g di zucchero
8 g di zucchero vanigliato
2 uova
175 g di farina
un cucchiaino raso di lievito di polvere
2 cucchiai di zucchero di canna per cospargere

Lavare le prugne, asciugarle e snocciolarle. In una terrina montare a crema il burro con lo zucchero e lo zucchero vanigliato. Poco alla volta aggiungere le uova. In un’altra terrina mescolare la farina con il lievito ed incorporare il tutto setacciandolo sull'impasto. Mescolare delicatamente.
Ungere ed infarinare una tortiera da 24 cm e riempirla con l’impasto livellandolo bene. Disporre a squame le prugne, con il taglio rivolto verso l’alto, e cuocere la torta per circa 1 ora e 10 minuti in forno preriscaldato a 200°C.
A cottura ultimata, sfornare la torta, cospargere con lo zucchero di canna e lasciarla raffreddare. Poi toglierla dallo stampo e tagliarla a fette.

This magnificent Plums' cake is of simple execution and will guarantee you a great success with your guests. For nothing dry, soft on the palate, it let eat with pleasure. You can accompany it with a good cup of hot tea or good vanilla ice cream.


Ingredients:

700 g plums
125 g of butter
125 g of sugar
8 g of vanilla sugar
2 eggs
175 g of flour
a teaspoonful of powdered yeast
2 tablespoonfuls of cane sugar for sprinkle

Wash the plums, dry them and stone them. Whip to cream the butter with sugar and vanilla sugar in a bowl. Little at a time add the eggs. Mix the flour with the yeast in another bowl, sifting it and add on the dough. Mix gently.
Grease and flour a 24 cm cake tin and fill it with dough leveling it well. Place the plums on the dough with the cut upwards and cook the cake for about 1 hour and 10 minutes in a preheated oven at 200°C.
After cooking, remove the cake of the oven, sprinkle with cane sugar and allow it to cool. Then remove the mold and cut the cake into slices.
